The Trenker Sauna Oasis: a world of warmth in the Dolomites
If your muscles and bones are aching from a long day, you should treat yourself to a little heat. Then you can enjoy the pleasant stillness in our quiet rooms.
Turkish bath
In the Turkish bath hot water vapour is sprayed so that air humidity of about 90% is achieved with a room temperature of about 40°C. The water vapour precipitates onto the cooler body, cleans the skin in this way and has a positive soothing effect on the respiratory tract.
Bio-Sauna
At about 60°C and 40% air humidity this type of sauna is half way between a Turkish bath and Finnish sauna and is especially suitable if you are really bothered by higher temperatures.
Finnish sauna
But if you really want to sweat this is the right type of sauna for you. At about 90°C and 10% air humidity the effect is the most intensive but is also the most demanding for the entire body.
Infrared sauna
Even the ancient Romans and the Germanic tribes knew that sweating is healthy. But in infrared saunas even sensitive people sweat without suffering. The gentle infrared rays warm your entire body and especially the skin directly although the surrounding air is only at room temperature.
Whirlpool
Enjoy and relax in the whirlpool as well. The large tub for one person fills up with water only for you. The warm massaging water jets loosen up your muscles gently.
Showering
For cooling off after the sauna at Hotel Trenker on Lake Braies you can use the Kneipp hose, steady rain and dousing shower functions.

Please note that our Warmth World is reserved for adults and that the sauna and shower area is a nudist only area.

After the sauna you need to absorb enough liquid, so we have set up a water fountain and a tea corner in the quiet room.
