Swimming in the Braies Dolomites – Alta Pusteria

Find refreshment in pools and mountain lakes

Lake Braies is called the Pearl of the Dolomites Lakes. But however beautiful and magical it looks, the shimmering green-blue waters of the lake are not really for swimming and bathing. Only the boldest water babies risk splashing about in the cool water near the banks. That's what makes boat trips even more romantic. And we can also thoroughly recommend walking or cycling around the lake.

Hotel Trenker

Swiming in the Hotel Trenker
Talking of warm ...

The water temperatures at the Acquafun adventure pool in San Candido that is just a stone's throw from Hotel Trenker in Braies are much more agreeable. The Alta Pusteria Valley indoor swimming pool spoils guests with an impressive Sauna World, water slides and paddling pools, water massages for sybarites, a lawn for sunbathing and much else besides.

People who love swimming and bathing can also visit the open-air swimming pool in Valdaora or cool off in the natural bathing lake in Dobbiaco after a long day hiking in the Dolomites. The bathing pool is suitable for both swimmers and non swimmers. People who don't want to leave our hotel on Lake Braies just jump into our own really refreshing pool!
